What is t-slot aluminum extrusion?
T-slot aluminum extrusion is a modular building system made from 6063-T5 aluminum profiles with T-shaped slots running along their length. These slots accept T-nuts, bolts, and connectors, allowing you to build rigid structural frames without welding. Common applications include machine frames, safety enclosures, workstations, conveyor systems, and custom industrial structures.
What aluminum extrusion profile series does MAP carry?
We carry the full MayTec product line: PG16 (16mm micro profiles), PG20 (20mm miniature), PG25 (25mm compact), PG30 (30mm standard), PG40 (40mm — our most popular), PG45 (45mm medium-heavy), PG50 (50mm heavy-duty), and PG60 (60mm extra-heavy). Each series includes profiles, connectors, T-nuts, hinges, handles, feet, and casters.
Do you offer custom cutting and machining services?
Yes. We cut all extrusion profiles to your specified length (50mm to 6000mm). We also offer bushing hole machining, end tapping (M8 and M14), angled saw cuts, and custom CNC machining. Custom anodizing in blue, red, black, and green is available on request.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes, we ship across Canada. We are located in Waterloo, Ontario and also offer in-store pickup. Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight, dimensions, and destination.
Can I download CAD files for your products?
Yes. We offer free STEP file downloads for our aluminum extrusion profiles directly from each product page. We also provide MayCAD, a free design software for planning and configuring complete aluminum framing assemblies.
